Heavy Equipment Operator (ALL ) BONUS

Job Description

Position Type: Full-Time, Benefit Eligible

Typical Schedule: Monday through Friday: 7am to 5pm. Schedule may vary.

Job Location: Central Ohio Projects

Typical Pay Range: $27 - $40 /per hour

SIGN ON BONUS: $1,000.00!

Excavators

Bulldozers

Loaders

Skid-steers

Rollers

Off Road Trucks

Key Responsibilities

Safely maneuver excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, loaders, and other heavy equipment.

Operate heavy equipment with precision to dig trenches, grade land, clear debris, and mass excavation.

Transport and place constructions materials on the job site as required.

Ensure work does not disturb/damage existing utilities.

Understand project specifications, and supervisor instructions to execute work accurately.

Workplace Safety Awareness: follow all safety regulations, use of proper PPE, and possess a responsible attitude toward safety.

Qualifications

Ability to operate at least one major type of heavy equipment used in excavation/ grading/ site work.

Minimum 2 years of operating experience on a construction site.

Certifications (can be obtained once hired, training provided by Layton Services): OSHA 10 and OSHA Excavations.

Valid Driver's License.

Strong work ethic.
