Job Title: Machine Operator ($19/hr.+)

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Machine Operators for our 2nd and 3rd shifts. This is a position offering comprehensive training on the 1st shift. The 2nd shift runs from 3pm to 11pm, and the 3rd shift runs from 3pm to 1am. Our ideal candidates will have a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality over volume.

Responsibilities

Set up equipment off-line, including changeovers and first-off inspections.

Conduct first-off inspections and manage the production line.

Operate roll form machines and drive a forklift.

Load trucks and perform inventory counts.

Read and interpret blueprints and set up instructions.

Conduct quality inspections and operate an overhead crane.

Perform handwritten documentation for parts inspections.

Fill out detailed inspection reports.

Utilize micrometers and calipers; training provided.

Follow lockout/tagout procedures meticulously.

Perform basic to advanced math skills, including converting fractions to decimals.

Assist in shipping and warehouse duties.

Work in a cross-functional environment where everyone is trained in various roles.Essential Skills

Ability to read tape measures, blueprints, and work instructions.

High attention to detail and experience with documentation.

At least 1 year of machine operating and setup experience.

Willingness to work 10-hour shifts.

Must have steel-toe boots.

Mechanical aptitude, including tow motor and overhead crane operation.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with tape measures, calipers, and other inspection tools.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
