Description
In this position you will be working directly with 2-5 others on one machine to efficiently package the finished materials as they are coming out of the machine. These machines are Roll Forming machines and the main product they are producing are metal shingles, siding, and gutters. Each machine will be operated by one Machine Operator II - Depending on which machine/product you can expect to be working with 2-5 other Packagers (Machine Operator I). Each product is visually quality checked to ensure no manufacturing defects are present. Other Responsibilities: 1. Must be comfortable working with others as this is a fast paced environment that requires everyone to be paying close attention. 2. Must be comfortable with making boxes, packaging, palletizing and moving product. 3. Must be familiar and comfortable with Power tools (Drills, Staple Gun, and other pneumatic tools). 4. Ability to learn several machines and work with different groups every day. Every day is different and you will be expected to work with every machine and different individuals. Schedules are posted two weeks in advance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
6+ months in manufacturing/production environment Mechanically inclined Hand and Power tool experience Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide inches and pounds, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to read and understand tape measurers and calculators. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in. Must have the ability to be able to measure parts as part of quality checks.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
