Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description
A production company that manufactures grout and concrete is seeking a long-term general production worker. The ideal candidate will be responsible for measuring and inspecting products for defects, loading, unloading, and transporting materials using a forklift, and operating machinery safely and efficiently. The role requires adherence to all safety regulations and workplace procedures.
Responsibilities
Measure and inspect products for defects and report any issues to supervisors.
Load, unload, and transport materials and finished products using a forklift.
Operate machinery safely and efficiently according to company guidelines.
Follow all safety regulations and workplace procedures.Essential Skills

Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Must be comfortable being cross-trained within multiple departments.

Work Environment
The work environment is industrial with a focus on safety. Employees are required to wear steel-toed shoes and are provided with PPE including hard hats, safety glasses, and respiratory masks. Shifts are available on a 1st shift schedule (8 AM or 9 AM start time for a 10-hour shift) and a 2nd shift schedule (2 PM - 12:30 AM), with the flexibility to work overtime as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Mirada, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
