As we expand our presence in Colorado Springs, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our back-of-house operations.

Job Summary

The Kitchen Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations, maintaining high food quality standards, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment, and leading a team of culinary professionals. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for excellence in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating

Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency

Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including sanitation and food safety protocols

Manage kitchen inventory, order supplies, and control food costs

Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff to promote teamwork and efficiency

Create and maintain schedules to ensure proper staffing levels

Collaborate with the executive chef and management team on menu development and specials

Monitor kitchen equipment and coordinate maintenance or repairs as needed

Maintain a positive and productive work environment, fostering a culture of accountability and respect

Qualifications

Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, or similar role in a high-volume restaurant

Strong leadership and team-building skills

In-depth knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and sanitation standards

Ability to manage inventory, control costs, and meet budget goals

Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Passion for food, hospitality, and delivering an exceptional guest experience

ServSafe Certification or equivalent preferred
