CNC Programmer

Job Description

In a CNC Programmer job you’ll be responsible for:

Selecting appropriate cutting tools

Monitoring operations

Making adjustments as needed to maintain the desired specifications

Design and implement the software that controls the CNC machines to produce the complex components with precision

Reading and interpreting blueprints

CAD/CAM software proficiency

Program development

Machine setup

Troubleshooting

Quality control

What you’ll need:

Strong understanding of machining principles and processes

Proficient CAD/CAM software, such as Mastercam, solid works, NX

Knowledge of G-code and M-code programming languages

Problem solving and analytical skills

Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine tools

3-5 Years experience as a CNC Programmer

Work Schedule: 1st shift 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday

Pay rate: $24-32+ depending on experience
