Job Description: The Unaccompanied Housing Supervisor ensures complete compliance of all Bachelor Housing regulations, policies and procedures; coordinates maintenance and/or repairs of Bachelor Housing units; and processes in-coming and out-going residents.

Essential Duties & Job Functions:

Oversees quarters' assignments and terminations, inspection of quarters to ensure cleanliness, and ensures that all Government property and equipment is operable and the quarters is habitable.

Supervises front desk operations and quarters' assignments.

Interviews and counsels residents on Overseas housing allowance (OHA) and Temporary Lodging allowance (TLA) eligibility; recommends (approval or disapproval) residents to Government representative.

Oversees the Bachelor Housing janitors, performs daily inspections of common areas, vacant rooms for cleanliness and maintenance problems.

Develop and implement Bachelor Housing janitorial training programs (safety, maintenance procedures, etc.).

Develops and conducts customer service and lodging training with the staff.

Establishes and implements a process for inventory, storage and security of personal property.

Ensures all furnishings, fixtures, and equipment are properly maintained.

Ensures that all safety and security regulations are adhered to and violations are corrected immediately.

Inventories and secures all metal room keys and plastic card room keys weekly and reports any missing or damaged keys to the Government.

Develops and maintains the Bachelor Housing emergency preparedness and response program.

Conducts command and Fleet / Family readiness briefings.

Develops and maintains SOP's, policies and procedures for managing the Bachelor Housing units.

Approves staff timesheets and vacation requests.

Issues disciplinary actions as needed.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Accountable For:

Ability to respond to situations that occur outside of the normal work hours.

Excellent customer service skills.

Ability to communicate with a variety of different cultures.

Ability to respond effectively to various types of housing situations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Five (5) years experience in housing and/or apartment management with three (3) years as a supervisor in Housing-related activities.

Intermediate skill in the use of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, Access and Power Point.

Possession of a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

Five (5) years experience in Military Bachelor Housing with three (3) years in supervisory management experience.

Possess a current Certified Defense Unaccompanied Housing Manager Certification.

Knowledge of military rank and military protocol.
