Job Description Sales Manager

Sales Manager Responsibilities include:

• Lead and manage the sales cycle for customer accounts and shall be responsible for the

sales team achieving minimum corporate Monthly Sales Attainment (MSA) and

Quarterly Sales Attainment. The corporate MSA and QST are reviewed and defined

annually. Prepare sales goals in alignment with corporate goals. Set quotas for the sales

team and monitor their progress.

• Conduct and capture research in EMS's CRM and employ effective sales methods for

uncovering opportunities and building out a pipeline of prospects. Generate pipeline that

meets the corporate sales target.

• Assist the team with Marketing and Lead generation in development and execution of

campaigns and perform cold calling and prospecting via phone, email, social media, etc.

• Plan and develop sales strategy to acquire new customers, achieve sales targets and close

complex sales opportunities. Build and maintain a pipeline in support of corporate sales

target. Develop and assign territories to the sales team. Analyze sales data to identify

trends and measure team performance.

• Recruit, evaluate performance and recommend promotion/demotion of sales

representatives. Training and onboarding for new employees in Sales department. Mentor

sales representatives and provide career development.

• Manage and train the sales associates team to execute the sales cycle and track sales

processes in EMS' CRM for selling into state and local government, transportation,

construction and other organizations with having requirements for EMS Software offerings

• Prepare business case, quotes and proposals in response to prospects' inquiries, request

for proposals, and unsolicited requirements

• Monitor key accounts and achieve a high standard of client retention. Resolve customer

complaints, especially those escalated by sales staff.

• Plan and prepare budgets and approve expenditures for sales team salary, activity, and

travel expenses.

• Become proficient in EMS Software Product Offerings; articulate the software

capabilities and advantages; and conduct product demonstrations and presentations

• Effectively utilize computer and proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, CRM, SharePoint,

and Project Management software in performance of work responsibilitie
