Job Description

Nexeo HR is hiring qualified Equipment Operators!

We are seeking individuals with prior manufacturing experience, preferably in a clean room environment. Ideal candidates are comfortable with repetitive tasks, machine operation, and can lift up to 30 lbs.

The Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of simple, automated assembly machines. This role involves repetitive tasks and requires a basic level of attentiveness to ensure smooth machine operation and quality product output.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand written procedures and work instructions.

• Safely operate equipment in compliance with company standards and procedures.

• Start machines from a powered-off state.

• Perform work order setups using electronic batch records, data acquisition, and inventory systems.

• Operate machines, jigs, and fixtures to produce quality products at established run rates.

• Read and interpret gauges, dials, and equipment indicators.

• Identify and interpret machine faults, resolve issues, and restart machines as needed.

• Inspect or test products to ensure they meet quality standards.

• Weigh, count, package, and label finished products.

• Learn and operate simple machines quickly and efficiently.

• Demonstrate flexibility in operating multiple machines as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills preferred (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word).

• Ability to read and follow procedures and instructions accurately.

• Basic math skills required.

• High school diploma, GED, or successful completion of an Employment Assessment is required.

• Experience using solvents, glue, or solder is preferred.

• Must be able to perform visual inspections with or without magnification tools.

• Previous clean room experience preferred.

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.

• Must be able to repetitively move and lift objects up to 20 lbs.

Pay

$18.00 - $19.50 Per Hour

Schedule

Day and Night shifts available

Night shift 6:30pm - 6:30am

Day shift 6:30am - 6:30pm
