Position Summary:

Griffin Health is seeking a part-time Core Measures Abstractor to join our Patient Safety and Quality team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting patient safety and quality initiatives through comprehensive data abstraction and reporting. Working closely with departments throughout the hospital, you will contribute to continuous improvement in patient care and clinical documentation.

Main Responsibilities:

Assist the Patient Safety and Evidence Based Care Manager in reviewing and abstracting medical records for core measures and other safety/quality initiatives

Support all evidence-based care activities, including data collection, analysis, and reporting

Assist with preparation for departmental and hospital-wide meetings related to patient safety and quality improvement

Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to enhance patient care processes and documentation accuracy

Qualifications:

Education:

RN or LPN required

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience

At least 6 months in a similar or related role (e.g., abstraction, quality, or patient safety)

Strong computer skills and typing proficiency required

Schedule:

Part-Time (Schedule to be discussed during the interview process)
