QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field.
Valid state teaching certification in mathematics or a related subject.
Experience in math intervention, special education, or classroom instruction at the K-12 level.
Strong knowledge of math content, intervention strategies, and assessment tools.
Ability to analyze student data and implement effective instructional strategies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, teachers, and parents.
Proficiency in educational technology and digital learning tools.
Commitment to fostering a growth mindset and a supportive learning environment.
Demonstrated desire to help all children.

The Math Interventionist is responsible for providing targeted mathematics instruction to students in grades K-12 who require additional support to achieve grade-level proficiency. This role involves working closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to assess student needs, develop intervention plans, and implement research-based strategies to improve mathematical understanding and performance. The Math Interventionist will foster a positive and engaging learning environment to support student growth and success.
DUTIES:
Assess students' mathematical skills using diagnostic tools and data analysis to identify learning gaps.
Develop and implement individualized and small-group math intervention plans based on student needs.
Collaborate with classroom teachers to align intervention strategies with core curriculum and instructional practices.
Utilize research-based instructional techniques to improve mathematical fluency, problem-solving skills, and conceptual understanding.
Monitor and track student progress through formative and summative assessments, adjusting interventions as needed.
Provide direct instruction in a pull-out, push-in, or virtual setting based on student needs and school requirements.
Maintain detailed records of student performance, intervention strategies, and progress reports for stakeholders.
Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and school staff to discuss student progress and strategies for continued support.
Demonstrates regular and punctual attendance.
Maintains a positive attitude and professional demeanor when dealing with school personnel and the public as a school leader.
