Job Description

Our client, an Industrial Distributor and manufacturer, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their team and ensure the smooth flow of financial operations.

Job Summary:

As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our client's financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, general ledger, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of accounting principles, have some formal accounting education.

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks.

Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.

Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.

Prepare and process payroll, including tax filings and reporting.

Generate financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.

Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

Collaborate with management to develop and implement financial strategies.

Provide support during annual audits and tax filings.

Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations.

Requirements:

At least some formal accounting education is required.

Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Proficient in using QuickBooks or similar accounting software.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Familiarity with industrial distribution and manufacturing processes is a plus.
