Forklift Operator

Job Description

We are actively looking for 5 to 6 hard working Forklift Operators to join our team near the Columbus, Ohio area in West Jefferson! This position will focus on loading/unloading trucks and moving products from either the racks in the warehouse to the shipping docks, then into the correct shipping container to then be transported to it's designated store nation wide.

Shift schedule & Compensation:

$20.50/hour

1st shift 10 to 12 hour days to start (Start and finish time is still TBD. Most likely either 7a-5p or 7a-7p)

If you are sent home early you still get paid for 8 hours that day!

Responsibilities:

Operate various vehicles for storage or removal of materials

Prepare products and materials for shipment

Load, unload, and stage products and materials via shipping containers and/or Semi-Trucks

Track and record units of materials handled via RF hand scanners

Adhere to safety policies and procedures

Various other tasks as needed

Qualifications:

At least 1 year of previous forklift or tow motor operating experience

Ability to work with a team or independently with minimal supervision

Ability to handle physically lifting up to 65lbs to palletize product as needed

Must have reliable transportation since hours can fluctuate (OT is mandatory and 10 hour days can turn into 12's as needed)

*As of now these openings are looking to be a temporary project lasting 4-6 weeks possibly longer depending how smooth the process is*
