Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and creative Electronics Engineer to join our team in the Ann Arbor area. This is an on-site role requiring a solid understanding of electrical systems. The position involves designing, developing, and testing electronic components and systems, with a focus on innovation and technical proficiency in areas such as PCB design, debugging, and programming.

Responsibilities

Develop and design electronic circuits and systems using software tools like Altium Designer.

Build and test prototypes of electronic devices to ensure they meet performance standards.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues in electronic designs through debugging techniques.

Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to incorporate electronic systems into broader projects.

Conduct measurements with equipment such as oscilloscopes to verify compliance with technical specifications.

Document design workflows, testing outcomes, and project details for reference and knowledge sharing.

Perform thermal testing and refine designs to achieve optimal performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

Proficiency in firmware development and embedded programming with languages like C.

Experience with PCB design and layout tools is strongly preferred.

Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems and components.

Familiarity with both hardware and software debugging methods.

Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as needed.
