Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced full time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to become a part of our Dallas area team in Richardson clinic!

The position is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, providing treatment plans, prescribing medication therapy, and offering counsel across the lifespan.

Responsibilities:

Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments

Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients

Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures

Facilitate referrals to other departments (psychology, Substance, Counseling)

Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care

Maintain a customer-oriented approach to meeting patient needs in an expedient manner, involving the family in the plan of care as appropriate.

Qualifications:

PMHNP Certified

Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields

Ability to build rapport with patients

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

excellent interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of nursing, administration and physicians

Strong leadership skills

Stress resistant

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $115,000.00 - $125,000.00 per yearCompany Description
