Job Description
Project Manager/Construction Administrator Residential and Commercial charged with completing administrative duties during firms construction projects. Responsible for ensuring that all projects are permitted and constructed according to the architectural construction documents. Applicant needs to be able to work under strict deadline to make sure all contracts are followed. Main duties include responding to request for information from other companies and agencies. Issuing architect's supplemental instructions, manage construction costs, process shop drawings, and process change orders. Will conduct on-site observation and coordination with clients and contractor. Conduct construction progress meetings, as well as review schedules and work progress while participating in creating scheduling timelines and costs estimates. Provide feedback about issues for improvements (constructability, material appropriateness, clarity, function, equipment coordination, etc.) to the design production team as well as quality management. Maintain current knowledge of all applicable codes for project and resolve issues with inspectors and other authorities. Comprehensive knowledge of all types of building systems such as mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire suppression, storm sewer, etc.
