PLC Jr. Developer

Job Description

We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a PLC Jr. Developer in the Wholesale Distribution industry. The role will be based in Suffolk, Virginia, United States where you will have the opportunity to contribute to automation and control system development within a dynamic industrial environment. The position is fully onsite, providing an immersive experience working with cutting-edge PLC systems and automation technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior developers and engineers to enhance system performance and optimize existing programs.

• Develop, test, and maintain PLC programs with a primary focus on Ladder Logic.

• Support the integration of PLC systems with industrial machines and control systems.

• Troubleshoot and debug PLC-controlled systems and equipment as required.

• Document code, changes, and processes for project continuity.

• Review project specifications and provide input on PLC programming design and implementation.

• Participate in onsite testing and commissioning of automated systems.

• Perform system modifications, updates, and troubleshooting as needed.

• Ensure all developments adhere to safety, regulatory, and quality standards.• Proficiency in Cisco Technologies

• Familiarity with Citrix Technologies

• Experience with Cloud Technologies

• Knowledge of DELL EMC Technologies

• Ability to work with Dell Technologies

• Experience in AB Testing

• Knowledge of Active Directory

• Proficiency in Automation

• Experience with AWS Technologies

• Familiarity with Backup Technologies
