Litigation Attorney

Location: Greater Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid, with travel to office required)

Overview:

A leading and respected law firm in Philadelphia is seeking a talented Litigation Attorney to join its dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced attorney with a broad range of litigation experience to work on complex civil cases in a collaborative, high-performance environment. Trial experience is highly preferred, as well as experience handling depositions and mediations.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about litigation and have a proven track record of success in civil matters. PA Bar membership is required, and NJ Bar membership is a plus. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement with the flexibility to work remotely, though some travel to the office will be required.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a diverse caseload involving broad civil litigation, including commercial disputes, contract issues, property claims, and more.

Handle all stages of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motions, depositions, and trial preparation.

Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.

Prepare and argue motions, write legal briefs, and draft other legal documents.

Engage in settlement discussions and negotiations.

Provide strategic legal advice to clients and ensure consistent communication throughout the lifecycle of each case.

Collaborate with a team of skilled attorneys and support staff in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Active PA Bar membership required; NJ Bar membership is a plus.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in civil litigation, with a proven ability to manage complex cases.

Trial experience is highly preferred.

Strong experience with depositions, mediations, and all aspects of litigation practice.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to think critically, work independently, and make sound legal judgments.

Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines.

Compensation & Benefits:

Competitive salary, ranging from $120,000 to $225,000, depending on experience.
