Qualified Staffing is seeking a Business Development Representative for our client in Kathleen, Ga.
This is a direct hire opportunity!
Pay: $50K – 100K/Salary
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the commercial construction sector.
Research and track potential clients, projects, and industry trends.
Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients, including developers, architects, property managers, and government entities.
Utilize construction bid platforms (e.g., Dodge Data & Analytics, The Blue Book, BidClerk) to identify opportunities.
Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to establish connections.
Develop relationships with key decision-makers, such as real estate developers, general contractors, and municipal agencies.
Partner with architects, engineers, and consultants to generate referrals and collaborations.
Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations to potential clients.
Work closely with the estimating and preconstruction teams to develop competitive bids.
Negotiate contracts, ensuring terms align with company goals and profitability.
Maintain CRM records of client interactions, leads, and follow-ups.
Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance the company’s brand visibility. Develop promotional materials, case studies, and project portfolios to showcase expertise.
Leverage social media, email campaigns, and website updates to engage potential clients.
Develop a strategic plan for business growth and market expansion.
Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands.
Provide regular reports to leadership on sales performance, pipeline status, and market opportunities.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
Experience: 5+ years in business development, sales, or construction-related roles.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, project lifecycles, and industry regulations.
Sales & Communication: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Networking Ability: Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
Analytical Skills: Ability to assess market trends and develop data-driven strategies.
Tech Savvy: Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and bid-tracking platforms.
