Mechanical Designer

Qualifications:

3-5+ years of experience in a CAD Design Engineer role

1+ year working experience within a component manufacturing environment (Industrial/Aerospace/Medical)

3D CAD (Inventor preferred) or equivalent coursework, GD&T, MS Office and ERP

Proficient with machining techniques (i.e., turning, drilling, milling, shaping, etc.)

Experience with micrometers, calipers, lab and hand tools etc.

Strong communication skills Responsibilities:

Create CAD designs from scratch

Create fixtures for 3D print and fabrication

Attend weekly staff meetings and Engineering meetings to discuss the ECR system that is being developed

Manage customer projects independently and create a sample design according to customerâ s request

Participate in development projects to improve design or performance capabilities.

Learn the customer application side of the business

Visit suppliers to understand the manufacturing processes
