Qualifications:
Associate's degree in a technical field. Bachelor's degree is a plus.
Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a technician in a semiconductor manufacturing environment, specifically with deposition equipment.
Demonstrated hands-on experience with various metrology techniques used in thin film characterization.
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and basic statistical process control (SPC) principles.
Experience with Excel
Experience working in a cleanroom environment Responsibilities:
Utilize various metrology techniques (e.g., ellipsometry, profilometry, SEM, TEM, XRD) to analyze film properties, identify process deviations, and ensure adherence to specifications.
Performs set up of processing equipment
Maintain accurate and detailed equipment logs, process records, and maintenance documentation
Potentially support either front-end (wafer fabrication) or back-end (packaging) deposition processes
Processes test runs and prepares records, charts, and graphs of results for presentation to engineering to identify yield problems
