Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
2-8 years of experience in programming industrial controls for manufacturing process equipment, robotics, or other automated tools
PLC, HMI, and motion programming skills are required
AutoCAD and at least one of the following programming languages: Allen Bradley, Siemens, Beckhoff, Ignition, etc.
Experience selecting components and creating Bill of Materials for equipment projects
Knowledge of Ladder Logic, VFDs, motors, networking and communication protocols, etc.
Customer-facing experience is an advantage in this role; otherwise, must be a strong communicator Responsibilities:
Contribute toward the development of custom controls solutions for customers in the life science, food & beverage, renewable energy industries
Apply knowledge of electrical systems schematics, P&IDs, flow diagrams to develop machine controls
Specify materials for new systems builds
Help in drafting of systems schematics, control panels, process diagrams
