Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field required.

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in wire harness and LRU manufacturing within aerospace or defense industries.

Strong understanding of IPC 610/620 and J-STD 001 standards, along with lean manufacturing principles.

Expertise in designing and utilizing form boards for wire harness assembly.

Proven experience in work cell design and process optimization.

Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) for tooling and fixture design.

Experience in production planning for aerospace and defense assemblies.

Familiarity with ERP systems and production tracking tools.

Responsibilities:

Implement lean manufacturing techniques to enhance efficiency in wire harness and LRU fabrication.

Design and refine work cells to maximize production efficiency and ensure ergonomic work environments.

Provide technical expertise, troubleshoot manufacturing challenges, and enhance assembly processes.

Maintain compliance with industry standards (IPC, J-STD) while ensuring consistent quality control.

Lead initiatives to improve production capabilities and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Develop and maintain accurate manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and performance reports.
