Job Vision:
To safely, efficiently, and accurately pick and load all delivery trucks per order requirements while maintaining the quality of 7G products and the accuracy of warehouse inventory. This will in part be accomplished by:
Focusing on the areas and factors where 7G Distributing, LLC must improve in order to win long-term, sustainable market share while the sales team is focused on detailed, tactical execution.
Ensuring “best-in-market” DSD service to on- and off-premise accounts through best-in-class operations execution, and maintaining superior “partner” relationships with retailers and Suppliers.
Serving as a role model for 7G Distributing, LLC by establishing mutual respect with management and co-workers. Night Loaders will lead by example to promote teamwork, cooperation, and enhanced morale.
Operating with candor, integrity, and professionalism in all 7G Distributing, LLC interfaces.
Job Responsibilities:
Accurately pick/count cases of product and put on pallets, making sure the right product is on the correct pallet and pallet is stable.
Attach completed pick sheets on the right pallet.
Work to maintain the cases per hour goal,
Participate in nightly clean-up as well as general maintenance duties assigned by the Night Warehouse Supervisor.
Performs relief activity for anyone on the warehouse team as required team.
Maintain certifications for forklift and electric pallet jack operation and operate in a safe manner at all times,
Ensure the proper use of standup and sit-down forklifts, wrapper, electric pallet jacks, cardboard compactor, baler, glue gun, manual pump handle jack, and two-way radios,
Properly position delivery trucks for loading and secure the delivery truck,
Maintain security of the inventory and other 7G property,
Adheres to strict safe working practices, 7G Distributing, LLC policies, rules and regulations. Report to the Night Warehouse Supervisor any concerns or deficiencies in policy or procedures that require attention immediately,
Prepare warehouse readiness for day crew,
Ensure the warehouse is clean and orderly,
Ensure no beer is left outside the CEW,
Restock flow racks and pick areas as required,
Participate and be a contributing member in warehouse meetings for the purpose of communication and training,
Complete other duties as assigned by warehouse management.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Have the ability to lift up to 165 lbs. periodically,
Have the ability to lift 50 lbs. repetitively,
Be able to bend, stoop, push and pull repetitively,
Must be able to stand for long periods of time,
General math and counting abilities,
Steel toe work boots.
