If you have experience fabricating metal, working with CNC Mills, Laser Cutting, working with Turret Punch Machines, and offer experience with CAD/CAM systems for sheet metal fabrication, you may be interested in this Metal Fabricator Specialist position within the engineering department of this manufacturer. This job requires someone skilled in metal fabrication. Location is Allegan, Michigan. This is a salaried job position.

What is needed from you as a Metal Fabricator ?

Bachelor or Associate Degree in a technical curriculum is preferred but not required

3+ years of job experience in metal fabrication

Laser cutting experience

Ability to prepare and send quotes to customers using the ERP system (E2 by Shoptech)

Ability to write programs for the Laser and Turret Punch Machines using the Fabriwin CAD/CAM program

CNC Milling experience

Develop Operation Drawings when needed (to support customer provided drawings)

Develop Set-up Sheets for the Laser and Turret Punch Machines

Review Job Packets prior to releasing to manufacturing

Provide technical support to manufacturing when needed

Support the Corrective Action effort when needed

Experience with any of the following products preferred: AutoCAD, Cadkey, Fabriwin, Sigmanest
