Senior Environmental Project Manager
Location: Monroeville, PA (Office-based, 5 days/week)

Our client is a leading environmental consulting firm specializing in site investigations and site remediation under Pennsylvania's Act 2.
Job Overview:
Our client is looking for an experienced Remediation Project Manager to lead and manage environmental remediation projects, ensuring compliance with Pennsylvania's Land Recycling and Environmental Remediation Act (Act 2) and other regulatory programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Phase I & II ESA Review: Analyze reports, aerial photographs, and site data to develop conceptual site models and sampling plans.
Investigation & Cleanup Planning: Evaluate Phase II ESA results and develop strategies for obtaining liability relief under Pennsylvania's Act 2.
Liaison with PADEP: Prepare and submit Notices of Intent to Remediate and maintain communication with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP).
Remedial Reports & Cleanup Plans: Develop Remedial Investigation Reports, Cleanup Plans, and Final Reports, including contaminated soil capping, vapor mitigation, and exposure pathway evaluations.
Site-Specific Management Plans: Create soil and groundwater management plans, cap inspection programs, and long-term monitoring strategies.
Project Management: Oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring regulatory compliance, budget adherence, and timely execution.
Team Collaboration: Work with geologists, hydrogeologists, and environmental scientists to achieve project objectives.
Client Communication: Keep stakeholders informed and ensure project goals and expectations are met. Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology, or related field; professional accreditation preferred.
Experience: 10+ years in environmental consulting, with a focus on site remediation and regulatory compliance.
Skills:
Expertise in Pennsylvania's Act 2 laws and regulations
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience working with regulatory agencies (e.g., PADEP)
Proficiency in environmental modeling software and GIS
Ability to manage complex projects within budget and time constraints
Independent and team-oriented work style in a fast-paced setting
