We’re looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing Accounting and Finance team. You’ll play a key role in supporting our monthly close process, maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day A/P and A/R activities, and helping to build scalable processes as we continue to grow. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in accounting who is excited to work in a fast-paced startup environment and grow their career.
What You’ll Do
Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile key Balance Sheet accounts, and assist in the month-end close process
Manage accounts payable, including processing vendor invoices, coding expenses, ensuring timely payments, and resolving discrepancies
Oversee accounts receivable by generating customer invoices, tracking collections, and following up on outstanding balances
Assist with monthly financial reporting and variance analysis for internal stakeholders
Support the development and documentation of accounting policies, processes, and internal controls
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate accounting for key business activities
Help support the annual audit process, including preparing schedules and documentation
Participate in ad hoc projects and analysis to support the broader finance organization
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
Who You Are
2–4 years of experience in accounting (public accounting or industry experience welcome)
Solid understanding of US GAAP, general ledger accounting, and financial reporting principles
Experience with accounts payable and receivable processes
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and enjoy solving problems
Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
Flexible and thrive in fast-changing, dynamic environments
Enjoy building processes and improving how things are done
Desired but not required:
Experience with NetSuite, Bill.com, or other accounting/ERP systems
Exposure to high-growth startups, SaaS, or manufacturing environments
CPA or working toward CPA certification
