The interdisciplinary lab of Dr. Peixuan Guo at The Ohio State University seeks a recently graduated Ph.D with experienced in either RNA biology, RNA structure and function, RNA therapeutics, nuclei acid chemistry, cancer mRNA vaccines, RNA delivery, molecular biology, cell culture, biotechnology, biochemistry, protein/RNA structural computation and RNA Nanotechnology. We aim to train and create the next generation of scientific leaders and workforce with a practice to transform basic science and innovative research on RNA practical application. The researcher will work on projects related to: Chemical modification of RNA nanoparticles or mRNA to deliver RNA in vivo for disease treatment and cancer prevention, development of novel CRISPR and RNA therapeutics by applying RNA and DNA packaging mechanism as well as viral or exosome delivery technology.

Required Qualifications

PhD in chemistry, biochemistry, cell biology, or molecular biology. Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as organizational skills, ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, and flexibility to changing priorities. Previous experience in RNA or immunology is preferred.
