Senior Developer I

Duties: 1.

Perform hands-on quality coding and design performant, efficient, and reusable solutions that meet our business goals.

2.

Develop, maintain, and support applications, components, and services using current and new development technologies and techniques.

3.

Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness.

4.

Work as part of an agile team designing and launching new features.

5.

Help the team to improve by being actively involved in team meetings and ceremonies (including architecture, refinements, retrospectives, demos, standups). 6.

Partner effectively with Architect, DevOps, DBA, QA, Support, Product, and peer Platform teams.

7.

Work with Development Manager, Product Team and onshore senior developers and take guidance roles within the team.

8.

Estimate work efforts and coordinating with Dev Manager, Product Team, and PMs.

9.

Participate in high-level design decisions and creating solutions.

10.

Document code and technical specifications.

11.

Participate and facilitate knowledge transfer among team.

12.

Mentor Junior Developers, review code and help resolve technical issues.

Requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, plus 3 years of experience in all of the following: C# ASP.Net (MVC & Web Forms) .NET (Framework & Core) ASP.NET Web/REST API ASMX SignalR NUnit LINQ Entity Framework EF Core ADO.Net IIS HTML JavaScript JQuery CSS AJAX Microsoft Visual Studio SSO Industry-standard API integrations Kendo UI EKS or Docker.

Hands on experience in AWS development, specifically Batch, Lambda, S3, SQS.

Object-oriented design concepts and software development processes and methods.

Deployment tool Octopus Microservices architecture, distributed systems methods and practices.

Unit testing framework.

Source code version controlling system Git.

Building and understanding of CI/CD pipeline.

Work from home permitted 1-2 days per week.

Must work at employer's office in Jersey City, NJ other days $123,656 to $133,900 per year.

Must also have authority to work permanently in the U.S.
