Position Purpose
The instructional facilitator will provide assessment and accountability support elementary and/or secondary program staff to improve student achievement.
Essential Job Functions
Remediate and/ or accelerate students to achieve academic proficiency.
Analyze data to identify student(s) needs.
Assisting teachers and other instructional teams in the implementation of scientifically research based instructional strategies to help students who are having significant difficulty in core subject area(s) prior to making a referral for special educational testing (RTI).
Providing support and/or designing student achievement data reporting tools, compile, analyze, and report student achievement data needed to inform instructional and/or curricular decision making and for the purpose of evaluating educational programs and/or improving teaching procedures.
Providing and supporting professional development related to student information warehousing systems and related solutions software required for inputting, maintaining, and accessing longitudinal student achievement data.
Assist teaching and/or support staff with mandated and supplemental data analysis and reporting, program evaluation, and internal and external research as it applies to assessment or accountability measures.
Design, coordinate, and provide instructional professional development opportunities for district personnel.
Leading teachers and para-educators in supporting district academic initiatives (reading, writing, and math focused) initiatives.
Assist teachers in incorporating principles of the district technology plan into the development of curriculum and instructional programs.
Assist in the organization of technology resources for easy accessibility by students and educators in order to support the instructional technology program.
Participates in professional development (weekly cluster group) in order to grow as a professional educator.

Travel Requirements
Travel to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.
Pay Rate
$34.84 per hour.
Work Schedule
8 hours per day.
183 days per year.

Computer skills with Access, SPSS, solutions software, SIS software, information warehousing, various peripheral devices, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides.
Knowledge of current educational research and rends regarding assessment for learning and related accountability practices.
Knowledge of varied achievement and performance assessments and appropriate statistical methods. Physical and Mental Demands, Work Hazards
