Microelectronics Assembler

PGS Worldwide is actively seeking a Microelectronics Assembler to join a cutting-edge technology team in Chelmsford, MA. In this hands-on role, you’ll work on advanced electronic products and systems that support mission-critical aerospace and defense operations. Ideal for individuals with a sharp eye for detail and interest in electronics, this is a contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential.

What You’ll Do:

Assemble electronic components, sub-assemblies, and products according to detailed work instructions and drawings.

Use microscopes, precision measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment to ensure product quality.

Handle components of various sizes—from microscopic to larger assemblies—often using magnification.

Operate hand tools (tweezers, cutters, rulers) and pneumatic tools (torque drivers, screwdrivers).

Follow standardized procedures and maintain accurate production records.

Collaborate with team members to support throughput and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

Interim Secret Clearance required to begin (we’ll start the process after offer).

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Basic computer proficiency for timekeeping, digital work instructions, and reporting.

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions precisely.

Experience or training in electrical or micro-electronics assembly preferred.

Familiarity with ESD procedures and test equipment is a plus.

Willingness to learn J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610 standards.

Reliable, punctual, and motivated to grow in a technical role.

High school diploma or GED required.
