Revit/BIM Content Manager

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Revit Content Manager to oversee the development and maintenance of Autodesk Revit content and Fabrication CADmep databases and their delivery into projects. This role is responsible for administering .rfa and database content, organizing submittals, and working with both internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure accuracy and efficiency in content delivery. This role will assist with training and execution of project set up in Revit for construction jobs.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of coordination and prefabrication workflows, is comfortable interpreting submittal documentation, can bridge the gap between CAD/BIM data and procurement or operations teams, and can assist project set up from a starter template in Revit.

Key Responsibilities

Administer Fabrication CADmep .ITM content for piping, ductwork, and mechanical systems.

Build and manage Revit family (.RFA) content to align with company standards and fabrication workflows.

Develop and manage fabrication service templates, connectors, and routing rules within the database.

Organize and review submittals, ensuring equipment data is correctly matched to Revit content and fabrication parts.

Coordinate with project teams and third-party vendors to acquire, validate, and deliver accurate product data.

Assist in the development and documentation of workflows for QA/QC, procurement, and material tracking.

Collaborate with estimators and project managers to align database content with job-specific requirements.

Maintain and enhance fabrication reports and bills of materials for project use.

Support Revit project set up and set up training within the BIM group. Qualifications & Experience

Willing to learn database administration and development with the help of an outside consultant.

Advanced knowledge of .ITM creation and Revit fabrication part workflows

Experience managing Revit families (.RFA) and willing to learn family creation

Familiarity with submittal documentation and MEP job specifications

Strong attention to detail, with the ability to organize and process large volumes of product data

Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors

Knowledge of piping, plumbing, and HVAC systems and materials

Experience working with Evolve or similar content management platforms is a plus

Experience developing documentation or training resources is a plus Preferred Skills

Proficiency in Navisworks, Revit, and Fabrication CADMEP

Familiarity with BIM workflows and project coordination

Knowledge of Product Information Editor and Service Template management

Experience in mechanical contracting or prefabrication environments
