Financial Controller

Industry: Disability & Therapy - Public & Health Services

Location: Malta

Basis: Full-time

Remuneration: Salary + Benefits

Main Duties:

Provide financial guidance and support to Senior Management, and Board

Develop budgets, manage project finance and compliance

Research revenue, analyze operations and process improvement

Advise on business development and strategic planning

Manage finance, accounting, compliance, and internal controls

Implement cost reduction and efficiency strategies

Oversee reconciliation, performance, and preparation of financial reports/ forecasts

Provide strategic financial input on organizational decisions and long-range planning

Optimize banking and investor relationships

Develop new business opportunities and strengthens revenue streams

Ensure adequate insurance coverage, tax/legal compliance, and internal controls

Monitor KPIs and implements corrective measures

Ensure projects align with business goals and have qualified leadership

Foster ethical, customer-focused culture

What skills do you need?

Warranted Accountant (ACCA qualified or equivalent).

5+ years experience in a leadership role within the finance sector.

Meticulous and collaborative mentor with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

High proficiency in English language (C1 proficiency).

Excellent communication and negotiating skills.

Eligibility to work in the EU is a must
