Our client, a prominent overseas property investment company known for its strategic investments in high-value real estate and diverse portfolio, is seeking an Assistant Manager to join their financial reporting team as part of their business expansion. Please find out more from below.
Responsibilities
Manage a small financial accounting team to ensure efficient and effective daily financial operations.
Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, and monitor the general ledger.
Maintain robust internal controls and promptly address any risk or control issues.
Manage the month-end closing process for all group companies, reviewing financial statements and management reports.
Review tax computations and submissions.
Collaborate with external auditors to support the annual audit process.
Drive finance transformation initiatives, system enhancements, and process automation projects.
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including banks, cross-functional teams, and consultants.
Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by top management or the Board of Directors.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance & Accounting, Professional Accounting, or equivalent.
Professional qualification in HKICPA, CPA Australia, or equivalent.
8-10 years of relevant experience, preferably with a Big Four audit background; experience in property or property investment is a plus.
Strong expertise in financial accounting and consolidation.
Proven track record in delivering successful projects, including system implementation and process automation.
Team player and leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical skills, business acumen, and attention to detail.
Independent thinker with effective problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Chinese Word Processing.
Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
Immediate availability or short notice is a plus.
