Job Skills / Requirements

The Security Escort will provide cleared security services by escorting, remaining physically present, and visually monitoring all activities of non-cleared personnel in approved work areas of the Customer's facility. The Customer will identify and authorize access to these work areas before entrance.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Coordinate with the designated customer representative at the beginning of each shift to receive specific escort instructions and approved work area assignments.

Escort visitors and uncleared personnel to sensitive and restricted areas within SFO.

Patrol SFO facilities, respond to alarms, and check areas for unsecured classified material.

Control access to SFO facilities.

Monitor the entrance, egress, and behavior of all persons on SFO premises.

Provide access to SFO facilities to SFO employees and visitors under all required security and safety requirements and procedures. ·

Perform access control functions such as enforcing sign-in procedures and issuing badges.

Write incident reports and maintain logs.

Deter unlawful access and Report to and cooperate with SFO Security, local police departments, and other law enforcement agencies as necessary to keep SFO facilities safe, secure, and free from crime and disruption.

Positions Qualifications:

Must be a U.S. Citizen

Possess a minimum current Department of Defense security clearance at the Interim Secret level.

Possess a High School Diploma or GED Certificate.

Pass a comprehensive background investigation.

Pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Attend all required pre-assignment security training/briefings.

Be flexible, capable, and willing to adjust work schedules to meet customer requirements.

Communicate effectively by reading, writing, and speaking in the English language.

Possess one (2) years of prior experience in a law enforcement, military, or security organization.

Must be able to stand, if required, for 8-hour periods.

Work Environment:

No personal electrical or electronic devices of ANY kind are permitted inside secured areas at ANY time without proper authorization.
