Job Description

Seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Touch Up/Rework Operator to join our production team. This role focuses on performing soldering and rework operations on SMT and through-hole components in accordance with IPC-A-610 standards. Ideal for candidates with hands-on manufacturing experience in regulated industries such as medical device or aerospace.

Hours

Day Shift (6:00AM - 2:30PM)

Swing Shift (2:30PM - 11:00PM)

Monday - Friday

Pay

$25.50 - $26.00 hourly (10% shift differential for swing)

Job Duties

Perform hand soldering and touch-up rework on SMT and through-hole components, including jumper wire installation/removal.

Execute rework activities in line with ECOs, Process Deviations, and MPI instructions using appropriate solder/flux types (leaded/lead-free, clean/no-clean).

Install and hand solder 2nd operation and SMT parts as required by MPI and deviation procedures.

Support both SMT and through-hole component rework as needed across production.

Requirements

1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

1–2 years of experience with soldering iron use and touch-up/rework of SMT and thru-hole components.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting assembly drawings, specifications, BOMs, MPI, and component values.

Hands-on experience with regulated products, specifically medical devices or aerospace/defense components.

Familiarity with ESD protection, board handling, and general safety protocols.

Ability to lift 15–50 lbs as needed.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
