HIGH LEVEL OVERVIEW

The Trade Compliance Specialist will ensure compliance with global import and export regulations by executing trade compliance strategies, policies and procedures.

The position is 100% in office based in Indiana, within commuting distance of Chicago or South Bend, Indiana

EXPECTATIONS

Be the Subject Matter Expert on import and export compliance transactions

Determine ECCN classification (no controlled goods or export licenses)

Develop policies and procedures

Conduct trade compliance training

Conduct restricted party and end use screening

Advise management on trade compliance issues

ESSENTIALS

3+ years Experience with export compliance required

Experience with restricted party screening and deemed exports required

Experience developing policies and procedures

Experience with ECCN classification

Customs compliance experience helpful

Bachelor's degree required

Relocation assistance available to northwestern Indiana

Full-time
