We take pride in our rich history and dedication to innovation, and we're excited to invite you to become part of our team at our Oregon, IL facility.nJob ResponsibilitiesnnProgram CNC mills using Camworks.nMust also be able to program and operate one or more of the following Specialty machines: CNC Grinder, CNC High Speed Mills or Wire EDM.nMust be capable and willing to train other machinists, showing them the proper way to use common shop Machine tools and inspection equipmentnSet up and operate various types of machine tools such as lathes, mills, drill presses, grinders, etc., selecting proper feeds and speedsnWork from drawings, sketches, specifications, and verbal instructions to make parts.nReading complex prints, designs, able to transfer in and out of CNC machinesnMust be able to read G & M code.

nMakes fixtures for machinesnPerform hand operations such as filing, fitting, tapping, etc.nnnnJob Requirements:nnnHigh School Diploma, or equivalentn10+ years' experience in a machine shop is requirednExperience with 3-axis milling is requiredn5+ years CNC mill programming experiencenExperience with CAMWorks and SolidWorks or equivalent CAM and CAD software is requirednExperience with 5-axis milling is preferrednEDM experience preferrednKnowledge of precision measuring devicesnWork to close tolerancesnThe ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and sketchesnAdvanced shop mathematics skillsnBroad knowledge of machine shop practices nProven mechanical aptitudennEqual Opportunity Employer – vets, disability
