Manufacturing / Value Stream Leader will manage a team of roughly 20 employees across 1st, 2nd, and weekend shifts. The candidate will work with a peer group in Technical Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Program Management to deliver on commitments, ultimately responsible for Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.
Responsibilities may shift with business needs, and you will make impacts in the following ways;
Utilizes capacity analysis to establish methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.
Works with the team to translate customer requirements into strategies and processes, resulting in cost-effective processing.
Maintains safety and regulatory compliance relating to the production facility.
Selects, develops, coaches and evaluates personnel.
Utilize all the tools available to drive a Zero Defect culture throughout the team (Root Cause Corrective Action, Corrective Action Review Board, Kaizen Events and Projects for Green and Black Belts).
Participates in technology roadmaps and implementation of new equipment and processes.
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site.
This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Typical Education and Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 6 years work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Education
BS in Business Administration, or Engineering. If no College Degree 6 years minimum of working experience in Electronics Manufacturing.
Familiarity with Electronics Manufacturing with a focus on test and troubleshooting
Ability to lead in a cross-functional team environment, with a customer-focused approach, and an aptitude for continuous improvement in serving internal and external customers
Familiarity with AS9100 quality systems and DoD manufacturing and test standards.
Strong diplomatic, communication skills
Ability to execute and deliver on tactical objectives
Experienced user of Microsoft Windows and Excel.
Preferred Skills and Education
Experience with testing of electronics, ideally RF
Experience with electronic test equipment
Continuous Improvement certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Black or Green Belt
