ESTIMATOR / CUSTOMER SERVICE REP

Summary:

Metal Sales is the nation's largest manufacturer of metal roofing and building systems with 22 locations across America. Our Independence MO plant has an opening for an Estimator/Customer Service Representative.

An Estimator is responsible for supporting the Sales and Customer Service teams with customer project estimates. Regular activities may include working with customers and/or architects to plan cost factors for building projects, analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation. Regular use of computer programs such as Applicad, Top View, Retro Master is the norm.

You’ll be responsible for (but not limited to):

Completing take-off using current estimating software (Applicad)

Entering Quotes into Net Suite.

Enter “won” quotes/estimates as orders with all documentation.

Supporting inquiries from MSMC teams and customers

Providing back up support to CSR team.

Be a team player and help Indy team members be successful.

The most qualified candidates will have:

At least 2 years’ experience in the building materials industry

Experience with Residential, Commercial metal roofs, wall panel systems and metal building components.

Solid mathematical skills

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and estimating software such as AutoCAD, AppliCad, Top View

Associates Degree in Architectural Drafting/AutoCAD preferred; HS Diploma or equivalent required
