What does a great Lead Financial Analyst do?
The Lead Financial Analyst will perform non-complex and complex financial analyses, liaise with C-Level executives on budgeting and forecasting, aid decision support & investment optimization, and assist in the creation of Executive and Board level presentations.
As a Lead Financial Analyst, you can look forward to:
Consolidate and report monthly, quarterly & annual financial performance including monthly variances against forecast & budget, opportunities & risks and operational metrics
Perform moderate to complex financial analysis on results and forecasts
Manage the consolidation of submissions for month/quarter-end results and forecast updates in a timely manner and prepare a brief written variance analysis for executive review
Update, develop and maintain financial reports and operational review materials to be used by the executive management team for making strategic decisions
Support decision-making processes, by providing forward-looking analysis and insights including “what if” scenario analyses
Partner with key functional leaders to drive alignment and accountability for relevant financial assumptions, plans, trade-off decisions, ultimately resulting in performance.
Deliver accurate financial results, including comprehensive analysis of key expenses during the budget, forecast and close processes
Create C-level presentations and assist with the coordination of the long-range plan, annual budget, and monthly full-year forecast updates
Drive enhancements to business unit FP&A capabilities and processes
Develop standardized approaches and identify opportunities to automate leveraging tools that allow for increased, efficient planning and analysis capabilities
Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or equivalent field; CPA or Master’s degree a plus
Minimum of five years of professional experience in a Corporate Finance/FP&A capacity
Fintech/Software (SaaS) industry related experience
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong analytical, quantitative, and Excel skills
Ability to make decisions based on precedent and solve problems using sound judgment, experience and data gathered through research
Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging and changing environment
Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with senior leaders and other business partners
Experience with Netsuite and Power BI a strong plus
Travel required: 0-10%

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on the applicant’s geographic location.
Salary range: $120,000 - $140,000
