Your tasks Software development for control systems for handling automation PLC programming Cobot/robot programming Engineering, implementation and testing of pilot projects in selected coating centers Defining standard equipment and procedures for automation and ensuring compliance with local laws, regulations and Oerlikon HSE standards Continuous improvement of the efficiency and quality of automation processes, equipment and tools Identification of new or alternative suppliers and automation technologies as well as technical and commercial approval together with purchasing Your profile University degree in robotics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, computer science or similar At least 3-5 years of professional experience in the field of PLC controls, automation technology or similar Technical expertise in some of these areas: PLC programming, industrial robot programming, collaborative robots, mobile robots Knowledge of C/C++, Python, ROS, PLC programming languages (structured text, function block, etc.) Experience with TwinCAT, OPC UA is an advantage Experience in agile project management and with tools (e.g.
