Overview:

On-Call Quality Control Inspector - $16.00-18.00

Are you looking for flexible, occasional work? As an On-Call Quality Control Inspector, you’ll play a vital role in covering labor shortages for our clients. This position is perfect for retired or semi-retired individuals, college students, stay-at-home parents looking for a change of pace, or anyone who wants to work occasionally without a full-time commitment.

You will be responsible for inspecting, identifying, and containing any non-conforming parts or processes to prevent defects from reaching the customer. Your attention to detail will be essential in maintaining high standards of quality!

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough inspections of automotive components, parts, and assemblies to identify any deviations from quality standards.

Document inspection results accurately and thoroughly, including non-conforming parts, defects, and corrective actions taken.

Follow established quality procedures, work instructions, and standards to ensure consistent and reliable inspection processes.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including inspection areas and equipment.

Adhere to safety protocols and practices to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required to support production schedules or quality initiatives.

Qualifications:

Number one qualification is your attitude! We can teach you everything else - come in with a smile!

High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training.

No previous experience in automotive manufacturing required but a plus.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify subtle quality issues.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.

Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
