The Role:
Reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources, the Payroll/HRG will manage all facets of payroll & HR generalist duties, preparing and submitting the weekly and bi-weekly payroll process, as well as the development, implementation, and administration of HR policies and procedures to support all IRE and Moove In employees with all areas of HR.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Payroll
Manages and administers multi-state payroll.
Processes and reviews weekly and bi-weekly payroll for all employees using Paylocity and Sage.
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
Ensures up to tax compliance and works with local agencies to resolve under/over payments
Work with managers to verify hours worked, overtime, PTO, bonus and other compensation adjustments entered into Paylocity.
Maintains and updates employee tax locations, pay profiles, pay codes, and other payroll-related configurations within Paylocity.
Manages payroll related activities related to onboarding and offboarding.
Maintains accurate payroll records and audit data within Paylocity to identify and correct discrepancies.
Generates and analyze payroll reports for auditing and compliance purposes.
Troubleshoots any system issues and liaise with Paylocity support to resolve technical challenges.
Responds to employee inquiries regarding payroll, tax withholding, and benefits deductions.
Assists employees with navigating Paylocity self-service tools, such as updating direct deposit information or accessing pay stubs.
Maintains accurate payroll records and audit data to identify and correct discrepancies.
Collaborates with HR and Finance teams to reconcile payroll accounts and ensure accurate reporting.
Identifies opportunities to streamline payroll processes and automate manual features.
Develops and document payroll procedures and best practices.
Human Resources
Works with recruiting to ensure a seamless onboarding/offboarding process.
Performs day 1 orientation with all new hires.
Reviews company benefits and demonstrates the enrollment process through Paylocity.
Reviews the employee handbook and location for future reference.
Enhances the new hire process by ensuring all compliance training is assigned through Paylocity and completed timely.
Administers and tracks all leaves of absence including FMLA, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability and Workers Compensation. This includes access to all vendor systems, reports and claims details.
Acts as the initial point of contact for employees with inquiries related to SharePoint, Culture Wise, Paylocity, Concur, and other third-party software providers.
Manages accurate and confidential record-keeping of employee information, ensuring compliance with data protection standards.
Manages monthly huddle/fundamental process including administration and reporting through culture wise.
Executes the end-to-end offboarding process, including but not limited to conducting exit interviews, updating and removing employees from relevant systems, confirming return of all company equipment and execution of termination letter/separation documentation.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Required Skills and Abilities:
Working knowledge of HR/Finance systems including processing payroll (Paylocity & Sage)
Working understanding payroll & human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
Advanced verbal and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Good time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business or human resources.
10+ years managing payroll.
Physical Requirements:
Duties performed in an office environment.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Inputs data with repetitive motion (typing).
Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times.
