Duration: 4 weeks?

Shift: 8-hour evening shifts?

Setting: Hospital/clinical environment?

Key Responsibilities:

Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment following established protocols.

Ensure the proper functioning of sterilization equipment through routine monitoring and maintenance.?

Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and inventory management.?

Collaborate with surgical teams to anticipate and fulfill instrument and equipment needs.

Adhere to infection control and safety standards to provide a sterile environment for patient care.?

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.?

Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician (CRCST or NBSTSA) is preferred.?

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in sterile processing, preferably in a hospital setting.?

Familiarity with sterilization techniques and equipment, including autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners.?

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.?
