Are you passionate about designing and implementing cutting-edge systems integration solutions? We are seeking a Senior Systems Integrator to join our team in the Washington, D.C. area. In this role, you will lead efforts to streamline data flow across various systems and platforms, leveraging MuleSoft and API management technologies. Your experience and leadership will enable seamless system interoperability and drive innovative integration strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect and design scalable integration solutions using MuleSoft and API technologies.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand integration requirements and develop tailored strategies.
Build and manage APIs (RESTful, SOAP, etc.), ensuring secure and efficient services using MuleSoft API Gateway.
Implement and oversee API security policies such as OAuth and JWT.
Monitor, test, and optimize APIs for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Develop and implement MuleSoft solutions for enterprise systems, focusing on reusability and scalability.
Create integration flows, transformation logic, and error-handling procedures using Anypoint Studio.
Act as a lead advisor and mentor on integration best practices, troubleshooting, and stakeholder relationship management.
Maintain comprehensive documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration guides, and operational procedures.
Stay updated on industry trends regarding MuleSoft, API management, and cloud integration technologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
At least 5 years’ experience in systems integration, with a specialization in MuleSoft and API management.
Proficiency in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Mule ESB, Anypoint Studio, and Mule connectors.
Expertise in designing APIs (RESTful, SOAP) with strong knowledge of API security mechanisms.
Solid understanding of integration patterns, data transformation, and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and integrating cloud-based applications.
Proficiency in Java and MuleSoft-specific languages like DataWeave.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools, DevOps practices, and integration-related technologies such as JMS, MQ, REST, and FTP.
Strong leadership, mentorship, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
MuleSoft Certified Developer or MuleSoft Certified Architect certifications.
Knowledge of Microservices architecture and integration.
Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
Familiarity with event-driven architecture and tools like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
Location: Onsite in the Washington, D.C. area.
