We’re partnering with an innovative chemical manufacturer to find a driven and knowledgeable Technical Sales Manager for their Polymer division. About the Role:
As the Technical Sales Manager, you’ll be the primary liaison between customers, internal departments, and external agents. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining existing client relationships while also driving growth and expanding the Polymer division. Your success will be measured by your ability to achieve consistent year-over-year sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the polymer industry
Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, production, logistics) to meet customer needs
Provide technical expertise and product recommendations
Develop and execute strategic sales plans
Travel up to 50% to visit clients, attend trade shows, and support business development
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in technical sales within the chemical or polymer industry
Solid understanding of polymer additives, flame retardants, and thermal insulation materials
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage a territory
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field (preferred)
Compensation & Benefits:
$110,000 - $140,000 base salary
10–15% performance-based bonus
