We currently seek a full-time Optician to join our growing team in Jenkintown, PA!

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED

At least three (3) year optical experience required

Strong customer service experience

Previous sales experience preferred

ABO-NCLE certification is a plus

Must be able to work one evening and one Saturday/month.

Job Duties:

Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses that meet their needs.

Measure customers’ eyes for the proper fit of eyeglasses.

Educate customers on the care and maintenance of eyeglasses.

Dispense, adjust and make minor repairs on eyewear.

Maintain inventory of frames, lenses and other optical supplies.

Inspect eyewear to ensure they meet optical standards.

Interpret and explain patients’ vision insurance benefits.

All other duties as needed.
