Optician

We are seeking a personable and knowledgeable Optician who is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and expert optical care. In this role, you'll work directly with our customers to help them select the perfect eyewear for their unique needs—from everyday glasses to specialized frames for sports and occupational use. You will also take precise measurements, adjust and fit frames, and educate our clients on how to care for their glasses and contact lenses.

Key Responsibilities:

Prescription Coordination: Obtain patient prescriptions from optometrists and ophthalmologists, ensuring accurate communication and seamless service.

Customer Consultation: Greet and engage with customers to understand their visual needs and personal style, recommending frames or contact lenses that best suit them.

Measurement & Fitting: Take detailed measurements and adjust frames to achieve optimal fit and comfort.

Technical Support: Prepare detailed work orders for optical technicians to manufacture precise lenses, ensuring high quality and accuracy.

Specialized Recommendations: Inform customers about advanced options, such as tints, anti-reflective coatings, and specialized eyewear designed for sports and professional use.

Qualifications:

Prior experience and foundational knowledge in optics

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
