Nestled in the heart of Columbus' historic German Village, Sycamore is an all-day café and restaurant. Join our team of passionate hospitality professionals committed to delivering exceptional food, beverage, and service in a casual, yet elegant, environment. For this position, we are seeking a friendly, customer-focused candidate that can thrive in a positive work environment and deliver on high standards with enthusiasm.
Responsibilities:
Prepares food items by chopping, cutting, and mixing.
Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sauteing, along with other cooking methods to follow to specific recipes and standards.
Adhering to proper food handling and kitchen equipment usage protocols.
Monitor food product and labeling. Rotating product to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Ability to multitask in a high volume environment.
Ability to follow direction and work as part of a team.
Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time.
Maintains safe and healthy work environment by adhering to all safety and sanitation procedures as well as restaurant protocols.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Exceptional verbal communication
Must be 18 to apply
2-3 years restaurant kitchen experience required
Culinary Arts Certificate preferred
Serve Safe Certificate preferred
